Wow this is exciting – Gibson has partnered up with Learn and Master Guitar, and they have completely re-done the whole L&M course! There are now 20 DVDs with over 40+ hours of HD video, 5 Jam-Along CDs, 100+ page lesson book, and an *amazing* support forum / community with unlimited access.

This is great news because I’ve always believed Learn and Master Guitar to be the best guitar DVD course available (since 2006 when I wrote my first review of it!) and now with Gibson behind them, the course is better than ever. Just in time for the holidays too!

New Expanded Version of Learn and Master Guitar

Well there is a new version of Learn and Master Guitar out now, right in time for the Christmas holidays.Â It’s called the “Expanded Edition” and now comes with 20 DVDs.Â It’s about $50 more or so, which is a pretty good deal at about $5 a DVD.Â You get double the content without having to pay double.Â You can read more about the new features here.

Â I ordered my set last week so I will have a review up soon, but it probably won’t be until after Christmas.Â I’m just WAY to busy to do anything before that.Â I haven’t even started xmas shopping!Â If anyone else decides to review the new Learn and Master Guitar Expanded Edition, shoot me an email and let me know how it is.Â I’ll post it up here for everyone.

Now keep in mind that not every product works perfectly for every person. However, we feel if you want to give yourself a real chance at learning how to play guitar the right way, this product is certainly one to consider. Using the Jam Tracks, you can play along with other musicians or go solo by turning the lead guitar track off. Another huge benefit is the program is designed to let you learn at your own pace, literally.
